Two Epic Passes are up for grabs at the Pray 4 Pow(der) Party. Your whole season, covered. You have to be there to win.
Tahoe resorts open in mid to late November, and we're not leaving it to chance. Join us at Tessie's in Stateline, just steps from South Lake Tahoe, for a night of live music, winter drinks and a little ritual to summon the season's first big storm. Our Yeti emcee will lead the snow prayers, hype the raffle and make sure everyone gets their pow-dance in.
Best-dressed contest: go big or stay home
This is the night to pull out the neon one-piece, the ugly sweater your aunt knitted, the full galactic costume or the gear you've been saving for opening day. The more outrageous, the better. Dress to impress the Yeti and take home the best-dressed title.
What's happening
The snow prayer wall
An 8-foot image of Heavenly with no snow. Write your wish for epic storms on a white note and pin it up. By the end of the night, your prayers will cover the mountain in snow.
Live music and a Yeti emcee
Live music all night, with a Yeti calling down the pow between sets.
Raffle for the Kirkwood Race Team
Win lift tickets and gear from our partners. Proceeds from the raffle and guest tickets go to the Kirkwood Race Team.
Winter drinks
Great drink specials at the bar all night:
- $7 Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing pints
- Hugo Spritz specials
- Peppermint schnapps in chocolate-rimmed glasses
- Bottle service packages with winter infusions. Reserve a bottle service package.
Ski patrol, groomers and mountain crews: you're invited
You're the ones who make every powder day happen. Ski patrol, grounds and grooming crews, lifties and mountain operations teams from Heavenly, Kirkwood and every Tahoe resort are our guests of honor. Come kick off the season with us before the long shifts start.
